Can someone tell me how guilds work?

Guilds: A collection of like-minded people who should help, support and battle alongside one another in the game of Guild Wars.

Guild Hall: An island owned by your Guild which allows you to have Guild Battles with other Guilds.

Guild Hierarchy: Guests - Guests can visit the Guild Hall and take part in Battles but do not get the Cape or the Tag after their name.
Members - Members can do everything a Guest can do but can also wear the Cape and do get the Tag at the end of their name.
Officers: Officers can do everything a Member can do but can also Recruit people
Leader: A Leader can do everything an Officer can do but can also kick, demote and promote Guests, Members and Officers.
